Reduce 15 - 20 second transaction times to 3 - 5 seconds.  The ConverTrex SP1X connects via RS232 to emulate a traditional dial modem and supports full 128-bit SSL encryption for secure communication over the Internet. The SP1X connects to our PrimeTrex terminals as well as any legacy POS software products (i.e. Micros, Aloha, Squirrel, etc...) that currently use an external dial modem.  This device will increase the speed of credit card authorization while decreasing communication costs. Savings for the merchant are realized with the elimination of costly dedicated phone lines and faster service to their customers.
